The maintenance of eco-sustainable energy depends on the type of systems and can include different phases:

• Monitoring:  the functioning of the plants and energy systems is constantly checked to identify any malfunctions or inefficiencies.

• Preventive maintenance : regular checks are carried out to prevent breakdowns and prolong the systems’ life. Cleaning and maintenance routines are also performed to ensure proper functioning.

• Remedial maintenance : in the event of malfunctions or failures, interventions are carried out aimed at restoring the correct functioning of the systems. This may include the replacement of damaged components or the repair of defective parts.

• Optimisation: it is one of the skills of the Energy Saving Specialist, who can intervene in modifications and improvements to energy systems to increase their efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

• Staff training : finally, it is essential to provide adequate training to the staff responsible for the management and maintenance of eco-sustainable plants and systems, in order to guarantee a correct use and management over time.
